Timber Technicians Wanted – Qualified Builders
Company Director Adam Leonard is a third-generation carpenter himself, so he will appreciate and reward your excellent carpentry skills.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
You need to be a qualified carpenter with LBP.
You need to have your own tools and transport, plus a full driving licence. However, we’d look at providing a van and phone to the right person, because we really do appreciate awesome carpenters.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
You’d be in charge of managing and running building projects, so this is the perfect role to show off your excellent management and communication skills.
You’d be keeping homeowners informed on the progress of their projects, so a professional and mature approach is a must.
Managing sub-contractors is another part of the role: booking them in; and making sure they do the job on time – and up to your high standards. Therefore you need to be comfortable managing and negotiating successful outcomes.
The ability to read building plans accurately and confidently is a must, and capable of ordering materials from suppliers.
It’s vital that you’re a team player and have a can-do, proactive outlook. After all, you’ll be working with some great guys (and girl) and we want someone on our team that will get a buzz out of working with happy people.
Note: we are actively promoting our building services on the North Shore (extending to Orewa), as we hate all that City traffic. However, there may be the occasional job come up in central or west Auckland, so you’d need to be willing to go there if the need arises.
